Monday Musings: Inspired by Street Art, East London Edition

We’ve been back from our big summer trip to Great Britain for a couple of months now, but I’m just now having time to sit down and flesh out the idea for this post. Better late than never, right?? Anyway, I was totally inspired by some fun street art we found near our East London Air B&B neighborhood and I wanted to do a quick post to share with you all.

Anywhere we travel, I’m always amazed to see the variety of murals and other street art. I thought I’d show you a few of my favorites we found in London and pair them with some art beads in my collection. I love the idea of finding jewelry inspiration where ever you go!

Art beads clockwise from top left: Green Girl Studios, Andrew Thornton, Humblebeads, Summer Wind Art; Giant realistic painting of a honey bee.
Bee, pollen, and face mural; Art beads clockwise from top left, Tesori Trovati, unknown lampwork, Julie Nordine.
Art beads by Golem Design Studio and Green Girl Studios; Mural featuring flowers and face.
Gorgeous black and white mural paired with several options from Golem Design Studio

I haven’t had time to make anything with these art bead pairings, but I wanted to show you what’s been rattling around in my brain. How about you guys? Where do you find inspiration for your jewelry designs?
