Ornament Blog Hop

Welcome to the 3rd annual Art Bead Scene Ornament Blog Hop!  Now is the time to warm up a cup of cocoa, throw in a few marshmallows and turn on some holiday tunes while you enjoy over 20 artists sharing their holiday inspiration.

I gathered together some of my favorite woodland themed art beads, steel wire and sari ribbon to create a series of ornaments for my tree this year. I used simple wire wrapping to create wrapped loops above and below the beads.  The beads are strung on 6″ of 21 gauge steel wire.  The hooks were created with 8″ of 19 gauge steel wire.

1. Sweater Weather Pendant and Teal Disk Bead from Humblebeads. Faceted Bead from Diane Hawkey, Ceramic Faux Wood Bead from Earthenwood Studio.
2. Snow Bird and Branch Disk from Humblebeads.  Peace Bead from Diane Hawkey
3. Mushroom Charm from Jangles.  Ceramic Teal Bead and Red Disk from Earthenwood Studio.  Branches Disk Bead from Humblebeads.

Be sure to stop back here tomorrow for the December Monthly Challenge
and on Thursday we start our popular 12 Days of Christmas with free
projects from our contributors and special guest bloggers!

Head on over to see the rest of the festive decorations created by jewelry designers and bead makers.  Happy Holidays!

I love these sweet ornaments, Heather… I leave in Atlantic Canada where walking in the snowy woods is a Holiday tradition (if we can ever get some snow!)

Due to an email malfunction I didn't get a chance to send you my link this weekend. I posted my ornament anyway and I'm going to leave my link here. If you're unable to add it to your post, I'll understand. I'm going to enjoy hopping regardless!

I love that these are nature inspired and have a nice organic look. It's hard to go wrong with birds or mushrooms.
