Spring…oh spring…with Odilon Redon

I just want to stare continuously a Odilon Redon’s beautiful artwork! I am pretty sure when Erin was choosing the artwork for this Journey, she was thinking ahead to the season it would be….. since this artwork pairs ever so nicely with spring!

SPRING…..OH SPRING…..IS FINALLY HERE! I am feeling so inspired!

Here are some porcelain bracelet toppers I made inspired by the painting “Butterflies”.

Here is a porcelain pendant and earring charms inspired by the painting “Bouquet with flowers”.

I am so excited to share with you what else I have been inspired to make. I have been slightly consumed by butterfly wings this last little while!

I cannot stop making these!! I am often questioned on how I have the patience for the little details in my tiny pieces…..but for me….it’s almost therapeutic! These hand formed, then painted butterfly wings are so enjoyable for me to make. Little detail after detail till they are done! No two exactly the same! I so enjoy the process!!

I also have so many flowers in the making on my studio table right now, here are a few I have ready to share, but many more to come soon!!

I am feeling so greatful for this challenge and where the inspiration has lead me!! Hope you will play along too, and share your inspiration from this beautiful journey with he work of Olidon Redon.

Terri, I just adore your work, it is utterly charming and beautiful! I’m especially in love with the floral earring charms and pendant set. Sqeee and those sweet little butterflies have stepped right out of the painting!! I always look forward to your posts!

Excuse me while I pick my jaw off the floor. A-ma-zing! I love the way you have captured all those tiny details! I just knew that this would be the Art Journey for you to shine! I wish that I could have them all. Super inspiring! Enjoy the day! Erin

Your work is just lovely, Terri! Love all of these! You really did a great job with those butterfly bracelet bars… they really do look like you plucked them right out of the artwork. I need some of your flowers!
