Blowing in the Wind: Etsy Inspiration for the April 2012 Challenge Painting

“In wind-blown draperies of slate-colour and blue, a girl passes through a spring landscape accented by pink blossom and daffodils.”

So says the Royal Academy of Arts in London in reference to this month’s Art Bead Scene challenge painting by John William Waterhouse.

Be inspired by these Etsy finds that evoke the swirling North Wind of the Greek God Boreas.

I really like the Shadow Forest Toggle Pendant and the Silver Lining ribbons. They just evoke that picture/painting to me. You found some other great finds, too.
