They changed the rules again this year for Bead Dreams and have excluded Ceramic/earth clay again. Same happened last year and they changed the categories. This year we are getting the "Oh well, we can't please everyone."
We would just like the category of "Handmade Beads&Buttons" put back in. The thought is it's TOO difficult to judge all mediums against each other. Give us all a break, oils, watercolors, acrylics etc. are judged against each other in the art world.
Been talking about in the forum http://cs.beadandbuttonshow.com/bnbshowcs/forums/t/12105.aspx

    Hi Heather!
There is also the Valentine’s Contest at my new site, Jewelrylessons.com. The list of prizes and entries is growing fast, but there is still time to enter: Deadline is February 1st, 2009.

Lots of contests out there, aren’t there? And they get better every year.

I always like to see the results of these contests. People do **amazing** stuff with little beads — I’m always blown away. (And hide my little necklaces under my collar…)

    I’ve got links to save!
