Natural Beauty

For The Marianne North March challenge I was inspired by the earthy, organic feel of the painting....and wanted to evoke that in my jewelry design. The speckled lampwork beads were a gift from my mother-in-law from a bead artisan in Tennessee .... unfortunately she didn’t give me her name or any contact info. The 3 pink lampwork rondelles and the 2 deep pink rondelles were all made by my husband, Moon. I used a variety of brass findings and finished the necklace off with a strap of hand-ripped batik fabric from my stash.
