Autumn’s Bounty: Etsy Inspiration for the September Art Bead Scene Challenge

I had the awesome chance to choose the artwork for this month. I don’t really know how I stumbled upon this painting, but I am so glad I did! The work of Giuseppe Arcimboldo just blew me away when I saw it. The intricate and true-to-life petals, the perfect placement of each flower, the colors, the whimsy… all so perfect! The colors are in my wheelhouse, this is the perfect fall palette in my opinion. And there is a lot of inspiration to work with, from the idea of a portrait or cameo, to each of the different flowers, I hope that you have fun with this one! To get you thinking, I pulled together a little Etsy treasury of some of my favorites.

This month we are swept up in flowers with Giuseppe Arcimboldo’s whimsical and incredibly detailed “Flora” portrait. Join us for the blog tour on September 28 on Art Bead Scene to see what we created inspired by this challenge.
