Perfect Pairings :: Ann Schroeder + Starry Road Studio + ArtyBecca + SueBeads

This was our only entry so far this month, but it would have caught my attention no matter what. As Miss Ann tells it, the beauty of the autumn season – like this painting by Milton Avery – demands that we ‘wake up and look around you’! The bright and almost dissonant hues that Avery chose are well represented in this stacked necklace design. The white of the branch-y tree, the soft yellow of the sky, the brilliant blue of the leafy tree, the candy pink of the swath on the hillside… all are represented here in a glorious array. There is a element of fun in this necklace that encourages you to embrace the delightful changes happening around you as we celebrate Fall.

Love this! References Fall, and keeps some vibrancy in the color palette of the bead choices. Super pairing!

I'm trying to look at entries for the July contest, featuring an Edmund Dulac illustration from The Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen. I found the designs but would like to see larger pictures than the ones at your link. Looks like they should enlarge but they don't.

Can you halp me? Quite a few look really interes.
