A spiral rope is a fun project to get your feet wet in the world of seed beads and a nice way to show off pendants from your favorite bead artists. This design is from Fusion Beads. Auntie’s Beads provides a video with the basic spiral stitch directions on Youtube.
I think I would use copper seed beads for the pendant bail to match the clasp. Here are a few art beads that would work great with this project:
